Rashad Eynaddin oglu Mammadov has been recalled from his post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Turkiye.

President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to this effect, Operativ Media reports.

Under a separate decree issued by the head of state, Mammadov was appointed Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan.

Mammadov had served as ambassador to Turkiye since July 26, 2021.
