Turkish club Galatasaray remains intent on signing 21-year-old midfielder Aleksey Batrakov from Russia's Lokomotiv.

According to the source, the Istanbul side has two representatives working in Russia to secure the transfer of the Russian player. The club's management is prepared to wait until August 10 for a definitive answer—positive or negative—from the opposing side.

However, the "Yellow-Reds" do not plan to increase their current offer. Should Lokomotiv reject the proposal, the Turkish club will turn to alternative targets previously identified for the position.

It was previously reported by journalist Ugur Ozturk that Galatasaray offered €25 million for Batrakov, including bonuses. Football insider Nicolò Schira has also reported on the negotiations.
