“Of course, the transportation of, say, 15 million tons or perhaps more of cargo through here (the Zangezur Corridor – ed.) will lead to much greater activity,” President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Azerbaijan Television in Nakhchivan.

“More jobs will be created, economic activity will increase, and Nakhchivan, I can say, will become one of the indispensable transportation hubs. This is entirely possible,” the head of state added.
