“We are deeply saddened by the news of the devastating earthquake in Indonesia, which resulted in loss of life and injuries.”

Operativ Media reports that this was stated in a post on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan's X social media account.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

Our prayers are with the people and Government of Indonesia at this difficult time,” the post read.
