The referees have been announced for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League playoff match between Sabah and Hapoel (Be'er Sheva, Israel).

Operativ Media  reports that the match will be officiated by Italian FIFA referee Davide Massa.

He will be assisted by his compatriots Filippo Meli and Alessio Berti. Matteo Marcenaro will serve as the fourth official, while Marco Di Bello will be the VAR, assisted by Valerio Marini as AVAR.

The first leg between Sabah and Hapoel will take place on August 19 at the Giulești Stadium in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. The return leg will be played on August 25 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium.
