Oil transported via the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) export pipeline fell by 8.6 percent year-on-year in January–July, totaling 14,773.2 thousand tons.

The State Statistics Committee told Operativ Media that the BTC main export pipeline accounted for 76.8 percent of all oil transit during the period.

Of the total volume transported via the BTC route, 82.3 percent (12,154.7 thousand tons) was oil produced in Azerbaijan, while 17.7 percent (26,018.5 thousand tons) was transit oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
