Ship struck in Strait of Hormuz, crew member killed
An unidentified vessel has been struck by a projectile in the Strait of Hormuz, leaving one crew member dead.
According to Operativ Media, citing the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), the incident occurred as the vessel was exiting the strait.
The strike damaged the ship's engine room and claimed the life of a crew member. The Oman Coast Guard is providing assistance to the remaining crew members.
