Sabah played the first leg of their playoff round tie in the UEFA Champions League today.

Operativ Media reports that the Azerbaijani side faced Israel's Hapoel Be'er Sheva. 

The Israeli club secured a 2-1 victory in the match played at the Rapid Arena in Bucharest, Romania.

The return leg will take place in Baku in a week.
