August 19 is observed as World Humanitarian Day.

Operativ Media reports that this was stated in a post on the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's social media account.

“Guided by the principles of international solidarity and humanism, Azerbaijan continues to provide humanitarian support to people and countries in need and to contribute to overcoming difficulties,” the post read.
