The U.S. administration is launching an unprecedented campaign of economic warfare and isolation against Iran.

Operativ Media reports that U.S. President Donald Trump announced the move on the Truth Social platform.

"No one has given the Islamic Republic of Iran more opportunities to make a deal than I have. Unfortunately, they failed to take advantage of it. Therefore, today I am announcing the most devastating economic operation ever waged against any country! This will be economic warfare and isolation on an unprecedented scale," the U.S. leader wrote.

Trump's statement comes amid escalating economic pressure from Washington on Tehran. Earlier, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent also signaled preparations for unprecedented economic isolation measures targeting Iran.
