Another shipment from Russia to Armenia transported in transit through Azerbaijan - UPDATED

A freight train carrying Russian wheat to Armenia in transit through Azerbaijan has departed from the Bilajari station of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.

Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) CJSC told Operativ Media about the shipment.

Another shipment will be delivered from Russia to Armenia in transit through Azerbaijan.

Operativ Media reports that 2,725 tons of wheat across 39 railcars will be dispatched from the Bilajari station of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC toward Boyuk Kasik.

To date, more than 44,000 tons of grain, nearly 9,000 tons of fertilizer, 1,136 tons of propane, 133 tons of aluminum, 1,114 tons of coal, and 67 tons of timber have been transported from Russia to Armenia via transit through Azerbaijan.

Additionally, nearly 15,000 tons of diesel and nearly 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline have so far been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
