Operativ Media reports that the document aims to further strengthen relations of friendship, mutual trust, strategic partnership, and alliance between the two countries.

Under the treaty, the sides will firmly support each other's independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the inviolability of their internationally recognized borders.

The document also states that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will not participate in blocs or alliances that could harm the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of the other party, nor will they allow third countries to use their territories against each other.

The treaty also provides for expanding cooperation in political, economic, investment, energy, transport and logistics, digital development, agriculture, education, science, culture, tourism, and other spheres.
