An award ceremony for the presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent on August 23.

Operativ Media reports that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented the supreme-degree "Dustlik" (Friendship) Order to the Azerbaijani head of state.

President Ilham Aliyev presented the "Heydar Aliyev" Order to the Uzbek head of state.
