Dutch club Ajax's defender Josip Šutalo will continue his career in Italy.

​Operativ Media reports that the 26-year-old Croatian footballer has signed a loan deal with the Rome side until the end of the 2026/2027 season. The agreement also includes a buyout clause to make the transfer permanent.

​The defender, who made 31 appearances for the Amsterdam club in the 2025/2026 season, has also earned 37 caps for the Croatia national team.
