Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has honoured Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration.

Operativ Media reports that Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev announced this on his X account.

"Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented state awards to international partners, and in this context, Hikmat Hajiyev was awarded Ukraine's 3rd Class Order of Merit," the ambassador noted.
