Azerbaijan has expressed condolences over the floods and landslides in the Nepal-China border region.

Operativ Media reports that the statement expressed deep sadness over the natural disaster, which caused loss of life and widespread destruction.

Deep condolences were extended to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives, and a speedy recovery was wished for the injured.

Hope was also expressed that those missing would be found safe and sound as search and rescue operations continue.
