A two-month pretrial detention has been ordered for the second president of the Republic of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan.

Operativ Media reports that Marina Ohanbanyan, spokesperson for the Anti-Corruption Committee, released this information.

Robert Kocharyan has been charged with abuse of office, particularly large-scale money laundering, and receiving bribes.
