August 28 marks the 34th anniversary of the massacre committed by Armenian armed forces against peaceful Azerbaijani civilians in the Balliqaya village of Goranboy district.

Operativ Media reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan shared a post about this on its X account.

"We remember with deep respect the memory of the innocent people who lost their lives in Balliqaya, and once again emphasize the importance of ensuring a legal assessment of the crimes committed against humanity and bringing the perpetrators to justice," the post said.
