The death toll from floods in Nepal and China has surpassed 760, with more than 3,000 others missing.

Chinese authorities have reported 16 deaths, with 546 people missing, including 261 foreigners from 23 countries.

According to the latest data, 752 people have died in Nepal and 2,502 are missing, while 8,730 people have been rescued, including approximately 600 foreigners.

In Nepal, 930 workers employed at various hydroelectric power plants are also missing in the disaster zone. Rescue teams from China and India arrived yesterday to assist. Near the Trishuli River, workers remain trapped in underground tunnels.

Rescuers are using heavy machinery to clear debris and are drilling shafts to supply oxygen, light, and food to those trapped in the underground passages.

The death toll from floods in Nepal has reached 734.

Operativ Media reports that the country's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) announced this on the social network X.

"734 bodies have been recovered," the authority's report said.

Previously, 675 deaths had been reported.

In addition, rescuers have managed to evacuate approximately 8,200 people, including 227 foreign nationals.

Furthermore, about 2,500 people are missing, including around 580 foreign nationals. More than 19,800 security personnel are involved in the rescue operations.
