Armenian and US representatives visit Syunik
Representatives from Armenia and the United States have paid a joint visit to the Syunik region, where construction of the Armenian section of the road under the "Tramp Route" (TRIPP) project is underway.

According to the report, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, US Chargé d'Affaires David Allen, and Jonathan Askonas, Senior Advisor at the State Department's Policy Planning Staff.
During the visit, the representatives of the two countries met with local government and community officials to discuss TRIPP's potential to strengthen regional connectivity and create new economic opportunities.
"This visit reflects the shared commitment of Armenia and the United States to ensuring peace, prosperity, and connectivity in the South Caucasus," the statement said.
According to the organization, the parties will also visit areas along the TRIPP route in the Meghri region.
