A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of statistics between the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan and the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan has been approved.

Operativ Media reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to this effect.

According to the document, the "Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of statistics between the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic," signed on July 31, 2026, in the city of Cholpon-Ata, has been approved.

Under the decree, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan will send a notification to the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding the completion of domestic procedures required for the Memorandum of Understanding to enter into force.
