President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has congratulated His Majesty King Mswati III of Eswatini.

Operativ Media reports that the congratulatory letter reads:

"Your Majesty,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and, through you, to your entire people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Kingdom of Eswatini – Independence Day.

Currently, favorable conditions have emerged for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Eswatini. Your visit to Baku in May of this year to participate in WUF13 holds a special place in the history of Azerbaijan-Eswatini relations. I recall our warm meeting and the exchange of views we had with the fondest impressions.

I believe that we will continue to make joint efforts to strengthen the friendly relations between our countries and to fully benefit from the potential of our cooperation, in line with the interests of our peoples.
