Azerbaijani para-swimmer Raman Salei has advanced to the final at the European Championship in Kocaeli, Turkey.

Operativ Media reports that he clocked a time of 1:03.38 in the 100-meter backstroke.

Salei is competing in the S12 category at the event.

Junior para-swimmer Ali Valiyev is also competing in the European Championship.
