It is gratifying that the friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, reflecting the will of our peoples bound by shared religious, cultural, and historical roots, is strengthening and being enriched with new substance day by day.

Operativ Media reports that this was stated in a congratulatory letter sent by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence.

“Undoubtedly, active high-level dialogue, regular contacts, and our close cooperation create the conditions for these relations to develop and deepen even more rapidly,” the Azerbaijani President emphasized.

The head of state expressed confidence that Azerbaijan-Tajikistan relations and strategic partnership, built on mutual trust and support, will continue to grow and strengthen through joint efforts.
