On September 10, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with a delegation led by the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, Rolande Pryce.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, Operativ Media reports that the meeting highlighted the long-term and fruitful partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank, noting that joint projects implemented over the past period have contributed to supporting the country's socio-economic development.

The sides emphasized that there are good opportunities to expand cooperation in sustainable urban development, green energy, transport infrastructure, agriculture, water supply, and water resources management, as well as several other areas.

The meeting discussed the prospects for developing mutually beneficial partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank, as well as future joint projects.

The Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Taleh Kazimov, also attended the meeting.
