On September 26, a Strategic Cooperation Agreement was signed between SOCAR and the Italian Football Federation within the framework of the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, organized under the patronage of President Ilham Aliyev.

The company told Operativ Media that under the agreement, SOCAR will serve as the "Global Top Energy Sponsor" of Italy's men's and women's national football teams for a four-year period from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2030. The partnership also includes an option for a two-year extension until 2032.

This partnership highlights the importance SOCAR places on its long-term operations in Italy, while demonstrating the company's commitment to contributing to the future development of Italian football, which is globally renowned for its traditions and achievements.
