Iranian currency hits new historic low

The Iranian rial has hit a new historic low against the US dollar. On Tehran's open market, the exchange rate for one dollar has surpassed 2.5 million rials.

Operativ Media  reports that foreign media has reported on this.

This comes just 27 days after the previous record low of 2.2 million rials was recorded on September 2.

Before the war, one dollar was exchanged for approximately 1.7 million rials on the open market.
