Manchester City has spent €526 million on transfers since being informed of the investigation into financial rule violations.

Operativ Media reports, citing ESPN, that the English club was notified of an independent commission's decision in July.

According to the report, the commission found Manchester City guilty of 114 of the 115 charges brought against them regarding Premier League financial rule violations between 2009 and 2018.

Despite this, the club continued its transfer activity. Manchester City signed Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea, Iliman Ndiaye from Everton, and other players.

It is currently unknown what sanctions will be imposed on Manchester City. The club is reportedly expected to appeal the commission's decision.
