US President Donald Trump has confirmed the withdrawal of the last American troops from Iraq.

Operativ Media reports that Trump wrote about this on his Truth Social account.

He stated that the US military mission in Iraq will conclude in 2026. 

Trump called this a "big day" for the US.

The president noted that US forces were sent to Iraq to fight ISIS, and following the group's defeat, it is time for the American troops to return home.
