The average price of diesel in the European Union has reached an all-time high of €2.24 per liter.

Operativ Media reports that the European Commission released this information.

According to the report, the rise in fuel prices is attributed to supply issues and disruptions in the refining process.

The increase in gasoline and diesel prices has also affected airlines by driving up their fuel costs.
