The entire regional landscape of the South Caucasus has now changed. Azerbaijan is the initiator of the peace agenda, and the author of this initiative is President Ilham Aliyev.

Operativ Media reports, citing AZERTAC, that Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said this at the CAMCA Regional Forum.

He emphasized that Azerbaijan demonstrates regional ownership and is creating new political realities in the region, which is the result of strategic foresight. Currently, economic and diplomatic connections are crucial for Azerbaijan. This includes renewable energy, transport links, as well as consolidating and preserving the achieved peace. "Because uncertainty in the region, as well as across the entire world, remains quite high, and this is also happening in Azerbaijan's immediate neighborhood," Hikmet Hajiyev said.
