Baku stage of Swimming World Cup concludes
The tournament, organized by the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation (ASF) with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has concluded at the Aquatics Palace.
Operativ Media reports that Azerbaijani representative Anastasiya Gnusina was among the standout performers in the final session. She set a new Azerbaijani record in the 200m backstroke with a time of 2:20.68.

Athletes who excelled based on the points system at the Baku stage of "The Silk Road Tour" World Cup were awarded medals. The award ceremony was attended by Craig Hunter, Chairman of the World Aquatics Swimming Technical Committee, Oqtay Atayev, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation, and Rashad Abdurahmanov, Advisor to the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation.
Yegor Kornev, who scored the highest points among the men, won the gold medal. Luke Barr took second place, while Pieter Coetze claimed the bronze medal.
Marrit Steenbergen, who topped the women's standings, was awarded the gold medal. Roos Vanotterdijk won silver, and Anna Peplowski took bronze.
Following Baku, the next stage of "The Silk Road Tour" World Cup will be held in Tashkent on October 8-10.
