The 8th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will be held in Baku on October 6.

This was reported to Operativ Media by the Ministry of Energy.

The meeting is expected to feature discussions and the signing of documents on cooperation in trade and economy, energy, healthcare, agriculture, cybersecurity, food safety, transport, education, and other fields.

The co-chairs of the Commission are Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and the UK Minister of State at the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade Anas Sarwar.
