"Infinite Brotherhood - V" exercise held in Uzbekistan
The "Infinite Brotherhood - V" multinational joint special forces exercise has been held with the participation of special forces from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Defense to Operativ Media, Azerbaijani servicemen represented the country with distinction, demonstrating high combat readiness and professionalism during the exercise held in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The exercise, aimed at strengthening regional security, stability, and military cooperation, focused on exchanging mutual experience among the special forces units of the brotherly nations, as well as enhancing interoperability in planning and executing joint operations.
According to the plan, participants conducted combat operations in mountainous terrain and residential areas, infiltrated behind simulated enemy lines, executed reconnaissance and search missions, and seized key facilities. They also practiced hostage rescue during anti-terror operations, protected strategic installations, and carried out day and night firing drills using various small arms, sniper rifles, and specialized equipment.
Major General Alakbar Jahangirov, Commander of the Azerbaijani Special Forces, who observed the final phase of the exercise alongside the training leadership, highly praised the skills and readiness level of the special forces.
At the conclusion, a group of servicemen who distinguished themselves in executing the tasks during the joint exercise were awarded, and commemorative photos were taken.
