The current state and development prospects of bilateral economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom have been discussed.

“We met with Lord Anas Sarwar, Minister of State for Trade at the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and a member of the House of Lords.

We discussed the current state and development prospects of bilateral economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom, the expansion of trade and investment ties, strengthening partnerships between business communities, and exploring new economic opportunities.

We exchanged views on the development of cooperation in the fields of digital economy and innovation, as well as economic and trade relations within the framework of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom,” the post said.
