The energy sector holds a special place in our cooperation.

Operativ Media reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this at the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Central Asia.

The head of state noted: "Azerbaijan plays an important role in the transit of energy resources from Central Asia to international markets. Turkmen and Kazakh oil is transported through our country, and the volume of these shipments is growing. Our cooperation in the field of renewable energy is continuously expanding. We are working together with Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to create a green energy corridor."
