Kazakhstan to chair CIS Council of Chairmen of Supreme Courts

The Supreme Court of Kazakhstan will chair the Council of Chairmen of the Supreme Courts of the CIS Member States in 2027–2028.

Operativ Media reports that the decision was unanimously supported by the heads of delegations at a meeting held in Minsk.

It is worth noting that Aslambek Mergaliyev, Chairman of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan, attended the second meeting of the Council of Chairmen of the Supreme Courts of CIS Member States and the session of the Plenum of the CIS Economic Court held in Minsk on October 8–9.
