The "PATA Hosted Buyers Summit Baku 2026" will take place in Baku on October 29. The event will feature meetings between representatives of companies from Asian tourism markets and delegates from Azerbaijan's tourism industry.

The State Tourism Agency informed Operativ Media about the upcoming event.

Jointly organized by the State Tourism Agency, its subsidiary the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), the summit aims to expand ties between Azerbaijan and key Asian tourism markets, as well as present the country's tourism potential to international travel professionals.

As part of the summit, B2B meetings will be held between local tourism companies and 50 travel professionals from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. The meetings will focus on discussing cooperation opportunities and establishing new business connections.

The event is included in the itinerary of a familiarization trip scheduled for October 24–30. During the trip, participants will visit Baku, Shamakhi, Gabala, Sheki, and Gakh to explore Azerbaijan's historical and cultural heritage, natural resources, hospitality traditions, and tourism infrastructure.

The program will showcase Azerbaijan's Silk Road heritage, mountain and nature tourism, business travel (MICE), "Umrah Plus" programs, and customized travel offerings. Opportunities to include Azerbaijan in multi-country Caucasus tourism routes alongside neighboring countries will also be discussed.

The "PATA Hosted Buyers Summit Baku 2026" will enable local travel companies to establish direct contacts with Asian market professionals, broaden cooperation prospects, and promote Azerbaijani tourism products in international travel itineraries.
