Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa has been fined £25,000 and warned over his post-match comments about officiating following the English Premier League Round 5 match against Manchester United.

Operativ Media reports, citing the Football Association (FA).

Following the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, the manager claimed that the referees did not want Manchester United to lose and that decisions were made in favour of the opposition. He also stressed that Fulham were very close to victory.

The FA statement noted that in his post-match interview, Alvaro Arbeloa made comments that implied bias or questioned the integrity of the match officials. The head coach later accepted the charges brought against him.

Fulham remain winless after six rounds in the English Premier League and sit bottom in 20th place. The London side will host Hull City on October 18.
