Sahiba Gafarova Emphasizes Interparliamentary Cooperation in AI Era in Bishkek
Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova highlighted the importance of defining new areas for interparliamentary cooperation amid rapid technological advancement and artificial intelligence during a joint press conference of parliamentary speakers from TURKPA member states following the organization's 15th plenary session in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on October 20.

Gafarova expressed her gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for their high hospitality and attention. She noted that during a meeting held with delegations as part of her official visit alongside Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Marlen Mamataliyev, the parties discussed further developing and strengthening interparliamentary ties in line with the spirit of allied relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
In her speech, she emphasized that TURKPA has made significant progress over the years, becoming an important platform promoting mutually beneficial cooperation and playing an active role in international parliamentary diplomacy. It was noted that the Council and the 15th plenary session of the Assembly were successful, reviewing the outcomes of the organization's past activities and discussing future priorities and cooperation prospects.
The Speaker stressed that the topic of the plenary session is particularly relevant given modern challenges.
It was stated that the outcomes of the 15th plenary session of TURKPA will contribute to further strengthening and expanding the organization's activities.
