Foreign Minister: Discussions on all areas of relations with India are useful

Discussions across all areas of relations with the Indian foreign minister are useful.

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this at a joint press conference with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Operativ Media reports.

“We consider this visit very important. After a long hiatus, resuming contacts with India's Ministry of External Affairs and discussing bilateral cooperation were extremely important and beneficial.

As is known, there have been differences of opinion between the two countries on a number of issues in recent years. This inevitably affected both bilateral relations and opportunities for cooperation within international organizations. Today, we discussed all these issues in detail and openly,” the Azerbaijani foreign minister emphasized.
