Minister: Great opportunities exist to boost trade turnover between Azerbaijan and India

Trade turnover between the two countries reached approximately $600 million in the first six months of this year. Unfortunately, this figure does not reflect our countries' full potential, and there are vast opportunities to expand cooperation.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this during a joint press conference with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Operativ Media reports.

The minister noted that cooperation is being carried out between a number of relevant agencies in this field. Currently, more than 1,000 Indian companies are registered and operating in Azerbaijan.
