Monaco defensive midfielder Aladji Bamba has completed a transfer to English club Newcastle United.

​The 20-year-old French footballer signed a contract with his new club through 2031. According to football portal Transfermarkt, the transfer fee is estimated at €35.5 million.

​Bamba, who will wear the number 8 jersey for Newcastle, made his first-team debut for Monaco in August 2025. Since then, the young player has made 25 official appearances, registering two assists.
