The Embassy of Lithuania in Azerbaijan has congratulated FC Sabah on its 4-0 victory over Danish champion Aarhus in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

Operativ Media reports that a post was shared on the embassy's social media account. 

The post highlighted the Azerbaijani club's magnificent victory under the leadership of Lithuanian head coach Valdas Dambrauskas.

It was noted that Sabah secured a spot in the Champions League play-off round with a 5-2 win on aggregate.

Congratulating Sabah, head coach Valdas Dambrauskas, the coaching staff, players, and fans, the embassy noted that the result marked a historic night for the club.
