Gas transit via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline increases by 1.3 percent
Figures for Azerbaijan's main energy export routes during the first seven months of the year have been released.

Operativ Media reports that 13.4 billion cubic meters of gas was transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline in January–July, up 1.3 percent compared to the same period last year.

The volume accounted for 55.8 percent of all gas transported through Azerbaijan's main trunk pipelines.

During the same period, 14.8 million tons of oil was transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, marking an 8.5 percent decrease year-on-year.

Azerbaijani oil accounted for 82.3 percent of the transported volume, with the remainder originating from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
