Qarabag head coach Gurban Gurbanov has spoken about his team's packed schedule, their ambitions in European competitions, and the experience gained during difficult periods.

Operativ Media reports that during a press conference ahead of the away match against Twente, the manager noted that temporary difficulties are normal in sports and ultimately make the team stronger.

"Tough times happen frequently in football. I wouldn't even call it a difficulty; it's simply part of football. Such situations can always occur.

We never want to give up on playing in Europe. We have no intention of sacrificing Europe for the domestic league. Europe is on an entirely different level. Even in the Conference League, there are very well-known and high-quality teams. We do not want to back down from this fight.

Particularly for our newly arrived players, competing in this tournament is invaluable for adapting and taking on responsibility. I observe the new players and their preparation. Football in European competitions is completely different, and it is precisely in these games that players grow.

We might face certain difficulties and shortcomings in the league, but we must get through this phase. In general, an individual, an athlete, and a club all grow during tough times. Teams and clubs develop and become stronger after major achievements. Therefore, this process is inevitable, and we must be prepared for it.

If we currently have a chance to reach the main stage of the Conference League, we are not walking away from it. On the contrary, we are preparing even more thoroughly for this goal and progressing toward it.

Injuries and other issues are nothing new to us. Years ago, we went through even harder and more tense periods. There were grievances, rumors, setbacks, and trophyless seasons. Yet despite all of that, we progressed step by step, gradually. Thank God.

I always view such situations as useful experience for the future. I believe this period will also prove beneficial for our future."
