Azerbaijan's Aykhan Javadov has won the gold medal in the 60 kg weight category at the U-20 World Championships held in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Operativ Media reports that the national team member faced Uzbekistan's Dostonbek Oripov in the decisive final bout.

Defeating his opponent 4-1, the Azerbaijani athlete claimed the top spot on the podium, successfully defending his title to become the youth world champion for the second consecutive time.
