Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Russia struck a shopping center in the city of Kryvyi Rih.

Operativ Media reports that Zelenskyy stated on social media that the attack was carried out in two waves.

According to him, a secondary strike targeted rescue workers approximately half an hour after the initial hit and the outbreak of the fire.

Zelenskyy said that 5 people are confirmed dead and 52 injured as a result of the attack, noting that 6 children are among the wounded.

The Ukrainian President offered condolences to the families of those killed and said that the injured are receiving necessary medical aid.

Calling the attack an act of terrorism, Zelenskyy urged the international community to exert real pressure on Russia.

The Russian Armed Forces have struck a large shopping complex in the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih with an unmanned aerial vehicle.
