"The TRIPP project will not only establish a direct railway link between Armenia and Azerbaijan, but will also integrate Armenia into the international railway network."

Operativ Media reports that this was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"The railway passing through the territory of Azerbaijan will connect the Republic of Armenia with the Russian Federation and Central Asia. The implementation of the project will also open a railway link between the Persian Gulf and the Black Sea. Thus, Armenia will gain a railway connection with Iran," the prime minister noted.
