​Former Liverpool and Brazil midfielder Fabinho has signed with Turkish club Trabzonspor.

​Operativ Media reports that the Süper Lig club's press service announced the signing.

​The terms of the 32-year-old's new contract were not disclosed. He left Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad, where he had played since 2023, in July this year after his contract expired.

​Last season, the experienced midfielder made 44 appearances in all competitions, recording three goals and four assists. Transfermarkt estimates the Brazilian midfielder's market value at €12 million.

​Trabzonspor previously also signed forward Mohamed Salah, who played alongside Fabinho at Liverpool.
